Hannah was amazing - graceful, centered, brave, and strong. She labored through the night at home and then birthed a healthy, beautiful baby girl at the birthing center.
Despite this being my first time witnessing a birth, it felt familiar and natural to me. I've no doubt been well primed by birth documentaries, conversations, and thoughtful parents, but Hannah also just exceptionally radiated a grounded sense of calm.
Grateful to be present for such a sweet time.
