When Margaret told me she wanted to use one of her hours to capture her and her mom working on the wedding dress, I was delighted! I had no idea how beautiful the light was going to be, but I definitely knew this was going to be something special.
Margaret is my first bride to make her own wedding dress from scratch! She bought the fabric, found a vintage design (a Vogue pattern from 1940), and scheduled the time for her mother to come down from Canada for a week to work on the project together in her new studio space.
While Margaret is well practiced at making leather bags (check out her AMAZING work here), this was her and her mother’s first wedding dress. So grateful to witness and capture a bit of the process.
