This was my first visit to Unscripted Durham! So glad Lindsey and Matt chose this hotel for getting ready. It had beautiful window light and super fun style with generous nods to the building's 60s past.

It is in the center of downtown Durham, just a couple miles away from their ceremony site at Duke Gardens (and just across the square from my favorite ice cream shop, The Parlour!).

Definitely want to visit this pool in the middle of summer!

I really do not think it was intentional, but the ladies wound up matching with the outside of the hotel! I didn't notice until I started editing. Love it.

Since these hotel rooms turn out into the same common space (seen above), we had to give the guys a heads-up to stay inside while the ladies stepped outside for a little photo action.

No problem. They had whiskey.
