Jae and Shaun met while teaching English in South Korea. They got married on The Durham Hotel rooftop. Their reception was held on the second floor and mezzanine, and they had an afterparty in the penthouse and private rooftop space. This Durham Hotel wedding was extra special, because Jae worked at The Durham and everyone knew her there! I still enjoy running into familiar faces from Jae and Shaun’s wedding.
Chelsea and Rachael’s wedding was on New Years Eve! Wonderful way to start their next chapter together. They got ready and had their ceremony at the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy Farm, just outside Asheville, NC. Close friends and family came from across the country, from Florida to Seattle.
Family and friends gathered for their summer wedding just outside Asheville, in the rolling hills of the Appalachian Mountains on Claxton Farm. The day was complete with farm animal fraternizing, lawn games, pasture walks, live music, and dancing.
Margaret is my first bride to make her own wedding dress from scratch! She bought the fabric, found a vintage design, and scheduled the time for her mother to come down from Canada for a week to work on the project together in her new studio space. Delighted to witness and capture some of the process.
